Alberta Jails Man For Believing They Have A Spring Season

Liam Tremblay, a 24-year-old man from Edmonton, Alberta Canada, was arrested by the Royal Canadian Mounted Police this Monday for believing there was a season of the year other than Summer or Winter. It all started the other day when Mr. Tremblay posted on Facebook that he was looking forward to seeing the Spring flowers next year in 2020. An interview with those close with Mr. Tremblay said he may have accidentally posted his status public instead of to only his friends. The public was horrified to see that someone living in Edmonton, Alberta Canada believed in the fairy tale that there was a season other than Summer or Winter.

“It’s a good thing he was jailed when he was,” Alberta resident, Charlotte Ava-Abigail, told reporters, “if he was not arrested then he may have been able to spread this tin-foil-hat nonsense to our children.”

“What’s next, UFOs? Bigfoot? Jack and the Beanstalk?” Another Alberta resident broke down in front of another reporter, visibly shaken, “All these crazy conspiracies out in the world and someone would believe there would be any other season besides Summer and Winter?”

The residents interviewed by reporters looked around to a mixture of Summer weather with some snow a few feet away. Alberta is a mutant hybrid of Summer and Winter, and no other season exists. RCMP have started arresting people who believe otherwise.

“Let this be a warning to anyone who believes flowers actually grow here in Alberta,” an RCMP spokesman stood in front of a mixture of media and hundreds of thousands of concerned citizens, “Anyone who spreads nonsense that we live in an area other than this beautiful province where you’re either burning or freezing to death will be swiftly brought to justice.”
